Sub for Santa!

Every year we do Sub for Santa with the Houtz Family. It is one of our most favorite Christmas traditions. It is such a fun night to be with family and get to serve and do good for those less fortunate. We have been so blessed in our lives and it is a great opportunity to give back. I also love what it teaches my kids. They are learning what it means to give and that is one of the most valuable lessons they can learn. We had another great experience this year and the kids loved shopping and wrapping their gifts. The Houtz family is amazing and so willing to give. This year with their help and with the help of my parents and our neighbors we were able to help out some dear friends who are going through a hard time! Thank you to all of you for your love and support. Thank you for caring for Phil and I enough to help out people you don't know but know they matter to us, so because of that they matter to you. We wish you could have shared in that moment of giving Christmas to a family who was prepared to go without. It meant the world to them. Their tears spoke volumes. They were so appreciative. You will never know how much what you did means to us and to them. We feel so blessed to be a part of such amazing families. Thank you for helping us help them. We love you all very much.
