So we had another great Christmas this year! Although it seems like it flew by before we could really soak it all in. We spent our Christmas Eve day up at the cabin. It was fun and we stayed busy sledding, eating, doing the nativity, eating, visiting, eating and giving gifts to Granny and Grandpa Houtz. They also gave us gifts. We love our homemade gifts. They put so much time and talent into what they make!! After the cabin we met up with Nana and Papa at the cemetery to light candles on my grandparents graves. It is a fun tradition and great time to remember how lucky we are to come from such amazing families. We got home late that night so the kids fell asleep on the drive. Yea just how we like it!! Dax did wake up long enough to make sure he left some cookies and milk for Santa and an apple for Rudolph. We woke up the next morning and to our surprise we found out that Santa did make it. There had been a few days of a lot of fighting so we weren't sure if Santa would come! It is a good thing Santa is a softie!! We had a great Christmas morning and the kids were thrilled with their gifts. Brooklynn got a karaoke machine, Dax a fishing pole, and Stratton got a scooter! They were all excited. After we finished we headed back over to Nana and Papa's for breakfast and more gifts!! We spent the day there and then made our way to Ginka and Papa's house for dinner. We ate and played with cousins and had a great end to a great day! We are so blessed to be near family and get to spend this time of the year with them.

Some how I missed your Christmas post. Your gifts to Caite and Hayden were a HUGE hit! Hayden has painted and repainted all his "guys". Great idea! Thanks a bunch!
