Last year Phil's family decided to have Christmas a few weeks early because Mark and Mckel were leaving to Florida. So we spent a Saturday up at the cabin and did Christmas. Well we had such a great time that we decided to make it a tradition. So this year we went up and hoped for a great day complete with snow and that is exactly what we got. We decided to have family pictures again because we added Halle to the fam. Grandma and Papa gave all the kids jackets for Christmas that all matched so we could wear them for pictures. It was cold and snowy and not exactly the greatest picture taking weather but it worked and the kids did pretty good given the situation. Poor Dax was sick that day and throwing up but he was a trooper and even managed to smile. After pictures we ate, did some sledding (but I did not bring snow clothes so we did not participate in that!) We played BINGO, decorated sugar cookies, Dax is an animal with the sprinkles, did the nativity and let me tell you that was the ugliest "jack-ass" I ever did see!! I didn't know they grew facial hair. After that we opened presents and we were lucky enough to get a visit from Santa! We weren't sure he was going to make it because we had quite a blizzard that day, but he was a trooper and made his way to the cabin. After hanging with Santa for a bit we sang some songs and cleaned up. It was a really fun day and we lucked out with great Christmas weather once again! Thank you Grandma and Papa for another great Christmas!!

What a good lookin' couple...that is a really good picture of you and Phil. Maybe I should be a photographer! See you soon!
Such good pictures! I love all their jackets. Thanks for Hayden and Caites art boxes...a huge hit. They have both painted several of their figures! Love it!
