HALLOWEEN!

I seemed to really enjoy Halloween this year. I love when it is on a weekday instead of a weekend. Some years it feels like you get the kids in and out of their costumes a million times. This year not so bad. They got dressed in their costumes for school. Brooklynn was a baby, Dax wanted to be a dead baseball player and Stratton was Superman! Stratton and I went over and helped in both Broolynn and Dax's class for their parties. After that we stayed to watch their costume parade. When school got over we went to Orem to visit Nana and trick or treat at her house. Unfortunately Papa had to go out of town this year so he wasn't there. We just had to send him a picture. After Nana's we headed home to go trick or treating in the neighborhood. It was fun because it was so warm outside. The kids had a blast. After they finished up in our neighborhood we made our way to Granny Houtz's house to see them and Ginka and Papa. We had some yummy chili and donuts with them. Then we went to the police station to see dad and trick or treat there. The firefighters put on a little spread so we got to play in the trucks there and have treats and hot chocolate. let me tell you we managed to cram as much as we possibly could into one day! It was fun and we had a great time.
