Every year we look forward to our week stay in Park City. This year was no exception. We start the countdown and it can't ever get ere soon enough. We had a great time full of fun. We left Sunday morning. We enjoyed a relaxed day doing nothing much. Phil had to come home that night because he had some training for work for a couple of days. Monday we went shopping at the outlets. Nothing too exciting this year but we did find a few good deals. The kids had a great time once they figured out how to make the horse ride work without putting money in it. Thanks to uncle Josh they had a great time playing at the playground and riding the carousel. After our shopping trip we made our way back to the resort for some lunch and swimming. We had a great day. On Tuesday the weather was pretty stormy all day but we did manage to entertain ourselves despite the rain. We played some video games in the game room and I beat Nana pretty good at Wii bowling. After lunch we went to the park and played. It started to rain pretty good on us while we were there but we had a great time. Phil came up that night to spend the rest of the week. We were excited to see him! Wednesday we went to the movies to see UP. It was a great show. The kids loved it. even Stratton made it through most of the movie. We are making progress. Pretty soon we will be able to go and see the whole movie! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. After the movie Phil and Papa took the kids back to the Resort and Nana, Jenna and I did some shopping. Again not much luck. Oh well! Thursday we went swimming and took the kids to the inflatables to play. They loved it and the slides were fast. That night we went back to the pool for a little pre-bad swim. On Friday we went to watch the ski jumping. That has quickly become a favorite activity of ours. We spent a couple hours there and later went and rode the Alpine coaster and took the kids on the rides. We only lost Stratton once but found him quickly. Too bad he could have cared less. That night we had a big steak dinner and celebrated Father's Day! We came home Saturday morning (of course with a sick kid! We would not want to break tradition!) It was another great time in Park City with not so much sleep due to the air conditioning unit, but plenty of chocolate caramel apples from Rocky mountain to keep us going! Nana had a rough week of cards but we are glad she could lose so that we could win! Thanks Nana and Papa for a fun trip!
