Welcome Home Derek!

One of the officer's that works with Phil has been serving n Iraq for the last year. He came home today and we had the opportunity of riding in the escort that brought him home. It was an opportunity that doesn't happen everyday and it was pretty cool to be a part of. I thought the kids would just think it was so cool to ride in a big row of police cars and fire engines all riding with their lights and sirens on. They didn't seem to amused by it but I had a great time! I must still be a kid at heart! It was a great time and we are glad the Derek made it home safe and sound!
