MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

We had another great Christmas. We really enjoyed this Christmas season and just wish we had more time to enjoy it. It just seemed to come and go so fast but we did our best to make the most of it. We had a lot of parties, we went to the lights at Temple Square, we enjoyed our festival of lights here in Spanish Fork, sub for Santa, the grandkid sleepover with Nana and Papa and plenty more. We have so much to be thankful for and most importantly the life of our Savior who made this all possible for us! Christmas was great. We went and picked up some La Casita chips n salsa for Santa (we thought he could use a change of pace from the old cookies and milk) then we headed up to the cabin for the Houtz family Christmas party. It was a great time sledding, eating, doing the nativity and opening presents. After that we headed to meet up with Nana and Papa and the fam where we made our way to the cemetery. Another tradition we have grown to love. After we placed candles on the graves we went back to Nana and Papa's for dinner. More good food and time with the family. We eventually made it home and put out our Pepsi and chips n salsa for Santa. We had a great Christmas morning and got spoiled like we always do. The best present of all intended for the kids but turned out to be Phil and mines favorite was the game room we made for the kids. We gave them a room for the Wii. We love it. They think it is cool and we love having all the games out of the family room! We were all happy with that one!After we opened presents at home we made our way back to Nana and Papa's for breakfast and more presents. Then it was on to Candace's house for some time with them and Grandma and Grandpa. We played games and ate more good food and then it was off to Mapleton to have dinner with Granny and Gramps. (yes I felt like I could do without eating for a year or two. It was great food but a lot of it!) It was a long busy day but we love getting to spend so much time with family.
