Strat's 3rd Birthday!

So Stratton has been so excited for his Birthday this year. He has finally started to get the whole concept of Birthday's and has realized you get all the attention along with presents. What could be better. he has been talking about his Birthday for months. We knew we had to build it up for him. We hung the sign and had balloons. He got the special birthday pillow on his bed and candles in his pancakes. I even made him a choo-choo cake! (thanks Desi for the cute idea!) He was so excited and he didn't disappoint. He loved every second of the day and was so excited about everything. He was lucky and got lot's of celebrations. We went up to the cabin 2 days before his birthaya and celebrated his and Phil's with Nana and Papa. They got him a scooter and he rode it all over the cabin. He loved it! The next day we came home and had cake and ice-cream with the neighbors since he share's a birthday with Sander. Fun all around. Finally on Sunday his actual birthday we gave him the Nintendo DS he has been wanting (he was feeling left out since Brookie and Dax got them for Christmas!) Then we went and had dinner with Grandpa and Grandma and the Finch's and had a Mexican feast complete with a choo-choo train cake! Who knew turning three could be so great! We sure love our three your old even if he is a "stinky pot pie!!"
