Goooooooo Cougars!!

Well after a year of making homemade flags and banners and talking about it, Brooklynn finally got to go to her first BYU basketball game. She has been asking Phil to take her and it finally happened. We left Stratton with Grandma and Papa and we took Brooklynn and Dax to the game. Unfortunately for Brooklynn it was not all she had hoped. Upon entering the arena she realized she wasn't so hip on stadium seating. She clung to Phil like she was dangling off the edge of the Grand Canyon. She couldn't relax. Luckily it wasn't very crowded so we were able to move to a section with no one around. Brooklynn finally figured out she could sit on the cement where your feet were supposed to go and she wouldn't tumble to her death from there. Dax on the other hand thought it was great stuff. He ran up and down the bleachers most of the game. He would not let go of his ticket and he danced to the music and did all the cheers. He was just so glad that BIU (as he would say) was able to pull out a nice big victory! We'll let it slide that he thought we were the red team for the entire game! Despite the scary seating we were able to catch a few good glimpses of Cosmo the cougar and had a fun time. We are already planning our next big BYU game!
