We had a busy fun filled day today. We started nice and early with the Art City Day Parade. Thanks to our dad who had worked the night shift all night then volunteered to work the parade so that we could have a good seat. The parade was lots of fun and the kids got a lot of candy. I was a little worried about how Stratton would be at the parade but luckily the sirens from the fire engines at the start of the parade scared him so he sat on my last most of the parade. After the parade we went up to Granny Houtz's house for Tessa's birthday part. She had a bubble party. It was fun and the kids had a blast. They played games and we had had hot dogs and Popsicles. It was a gorgeous day outside. Stratton was overly tired at this point but would not give in and fall asleep. After the party we went to dinner with the entire family for Father's Day. That is what Grandpa Houtz wanted. We went to Joe Vera's in Provo. Well you can imagine how that went with 20 adults and 10 kids. The poor waiters there. It was good and very chaotic. As soon as some of us were done we took the kids outside so they could run around out there instead of in the restaurant, and boy did they run. But don't you worry the fun did not stop there. It was off to Ginka and Papa's house for some cake and ice-cream complete with the Art City Days fireworks! It was a fun day but we were ready to come home and go to bed.
